A Resin Bound driveway is made from a mixture of aggregate stones and resin. It is fully permeable, providing good natural water drainage. It is a relatively flexible groundwork material, making it resistant to cracking. It is also weed resistant and is a great choice for a modern low maintenance driveway. With a wide range of stones available, there are many colour and design options to choose from.

Yes, resin requires a suitable base and tarmac is the ideal base for resin bound stone to be installed on top of. If you already have an existing tarmac driveway, it may be possible to resin directly over the top. Our Design Team can assess any pre-existing surface materials at a free consultation visit and assess its suitability.

Resin bonded surfaces are create by essentially layering a coat of resin over gravel or stone. Unlike resin-bonded surfaces, Resin Bound surfaces are fully mixed before laying, creating a smooth surface that is more resilient, more durable and requires less maintenance.
